(kiba) jaya jaya gorācānder āratiko śobhā
jāhnavī-taṭa-vane jaga-mana-lobhā
Synonyms
kiba – oh, what a!; jaya jaya – all glories, all glories; gorācānder – of Lord Gauracandra (Lord Caitanya); āratiko – of the ārati ceremony; śobhā – splendor, beauty; jāhnavī – River Ganges; taṭa – bank; vane – in the forest; jaga–mana – the minds of the world; lobhā – enchanting, attracting
Translation
All glories, all glories to the beautiful ārati ceremony of Lord Gauracandra,
which enchants the minds of the whole world in the forest by the bank of the Ganges.

dakhiṇe nitāicānd, bāme gadādhara
nikaṭe adwaita, śrīnivāsa chatra-dhara
Synonyms
dakhiṇe – on the right; nitāicānd – Lord Nityānanda; bāme – on the left; gadādhara – Lord Gadādhara Paṇḍita; nikaṭe – nearby; adwaita – Advaita Ācārya; śrīnivāsa – Śrīvāsa Ṭhākura
chatra-dhara – holding the royal umbrella
Translation
On His right is Nityānanda, on His left is Gadādhara, nearby stands Advaita, and Śrīvāsa holds the royal umbrella.

bosiyāche gorācānd ratna-siṁhāsane
ārati koren brahmā-ādi deva-gaṇe
Synonyms
narahari-ādi – Narahari and others; kori’ – doing; cāmara – yak-tail fan; ḍhulāya – waving; sañjaya, mukunda, bāsu-ghoṣ-ādi – Sañjaya, Mukunda, Vasu Ghoṣ, and others; gāya – sing
Translation
Narahari and others wave the yak-tail fan, while Sañjaya, Mukunda, Vasu Ghoṣ, and others sing melodiously.

narahari-ādi kori’ cāmara ḍhulāya
sañjaya-mukunda-bāsu-ghoṣ-ādi gāya
Synonyms
narahari-ādi – Narahari and others; kori’ – doing; cāmara – yak-tail fan; ḍhulāya – waving; sañjaya, mukunda, bāsu-ghoṣ-ādi – Sañjaya, Mukunda, Vasu Ghoṣ, and others; gāya – sing
Translation
Narahari and others wave the yak-tail fan, while Sañjaya, Mukunda, Vasu Ghoṣ, and others sing melodiously.

śaṅkha bāje ghaṇṭā bāje bāje karatāla
madhura mṛdaṅga bāje parama rasāla
Synonyms
śaṅkha – conch; bāje – sounds; ghaṇṭā – bell; karatāla – hand cymbals; madhura – sweet; mṛdaṅga – mridanga drum; parama – supremely; rasāla – full of rasa (mellow)
Translation
The conch shells, bells, and hand cymbals all sound, as the sweet mridanga beats with supreme transcendental mellows.

bahu-koti candra jini’ vadana ujjvala
gala-deśe bana-mālā kore jhalamala
Synonyms
bahu-koti – millions and millions; candra – moons; jini’ – defeating; vadana – face; ujjvala – resplendent; gala-deśe – around the neck; bana-mālā – forest flower garland; kore jhalamala – shines brilliantly
Translation
His face outshines billions of moons, and the garland of forest flowers around His neck glows brilliantly.
7.
śiva-śuka-nārada preme gada-gada
bhakativinoda dekhe gorāra sampada
Synonyms
śiva, śuka, nārada – Lord Śiva, Śukadeva Gosvāmī, and Nārada Muni; preme – in love; gada-gada – choked with emotion; bhakativinoda – Bhaktivinoda; dekhe – sees; gorāra – of Gaurāṅga; sampada – treasure, wealth
Translation
Lord Śiva, Śukadeva, and Nārada are choked with love as they behold the Lord. Bhaktivinoda witnesses the glorious wealth of Lord Gaurāṅga.
